    I notice when big events happen, people tend to let their emotions take over and carelessly pick sides and jump on the bandwagon without any profound understanding of the situaion. For example, some people may easily be turned against some other people because of their fear and irrational need to point the finger at someone.

    I also agree wth alex, people are afraid of difference and things they are not used to, but we should do more than just respect it, and appreciate diversity.
